Our clients owned the top two floors of a fine Georgian house. Initially, all they wanted was a new kitchen and oak flooring downstairs, but the project grew to encompass a new bathroom and - though no room existed - an office upstairs. We replaced the roof over the landing with a huge skylight and created an office below it, and punched another skylight into the gloomy, windowless bathroom. Extensive discussions evolved a kitchen that is a ‘work of art’ finished in motorbike spray paint.
